Style Post: Mesh & Camo.

Top: ASOS/ Pants: F21 Men / Shoes: GoJane
"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage." -Maya Angelou
Hey cool kids! It's been a little bit since my last style post, but I'm back. Hope you guys have been doing wonderful things lately. From Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo to Charlottesvile and Roanoke,Va, I've had a busy couple of weeks. And enjoyed every moment of it.

This style post features the true definition of "boyfriend jeans" because they are literally my fiance's pants #ow. I was able to hold up the slim-fit pants with a belt and tuck the excess length into the strap of my shoes. It's a tomboy look, upgraded by heels, and an example of how you can rock the mesh trend.

Peace.

Publish x Benny Gold S/S 2014 Lookbook.

This collection drops today at Benny Gold, Publish, and other select retailers. The standout feature of this lookbook would definitely be the foggy camo pattern which was inspired by foggy conditions in San Francisco. I especially like the jacket and khaki shorts.

Peep.

Cool Kicks: Vans OTW "Camo Leopard" Prelow.

These are the new Vans OTW Prelow in Camo Leopard, which, come on, are pretty adorable if I may say so. They're running shoes that favor the style of Nike Free's, but they're funkier and the lines are cleaner.

This shoe is part of a leopard camo pack that has another Prelow in blue, and Bushwick style in khaki, red, and black. I prefer the Prelow's  though. Anyway, take a peek. They're $90, and your feet with probably be really happy with you and think you're super cool.

BBC x Mark McNairy: "The Bee Line"

Pharrell and Mark McNairy collab on Billionaire Boys Club's latest line for Fall/ Holiday 2013. Nicknamed the Bee Line, which is clearly a reference to the black and yellow fur lined jacket below, the line focuses on jackets, button-up shirts, and trousers.

I guess they were going for the camo vibe throughout, with the face paint, but ol dude's face is really just a distraction from some pretty cool pieces. I literally put my finger over his head, lol. The line as a whole is decent if you wear the pieces as separates. It would take a real swaggy person to pull off some of these looks as they are modeled. Pharrell would have no issues doing that.

Rising Trend: Bucket Hats.

Schoolboy Q may have single handedly brought bucket hats back to life, because he is straight up committed. Ever since his musical inception, or at least Habits and Contradictions, I have known him as a bucket hat wearing visionary. He owned that shit, and was really the only person I saw wearing them. But I noticed at SXSW, bucket hats were sprinkled around the joint like big booty white girls....bad analogy, but they were around.

I feel like it's a symbol of real hip hop coming back again. The bucket hat was first popularized in the 80s with artists like LL Cool J and Run DMC, and it coming back is really just respect for the art. It's still in it's initial phases, but already artists like Joey Bada$$, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Earl Sweatshirt, Trinidad James, Drake, Mac Miller, and even Usher (oh Lord) have been spotted rocking the new trend. Taking it back to some true hip-hop type shit (minus Trin, lol).

Men's Style Post: Romney Can't Dunk.

Usually I only have an Outfit of the Day for myself, but it's about time I change that. This is my boyfriend Amanze. He's wearing a "Romney Can't Dunk" crew neck sweatshirt by Local Celebrity. The digital panda and wrist beads are from Good Wood. The watch is Zunammy, and it's been working out perfect for all occasions. It's also really affordable and looks good.
