Street Style: Paris Fashion Week.

"It’s a new era in fashion - there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together." — Alexander McQueen

There was plenty of Paris Fashion Week goodness on the streets, honey. From A$AP Rocky to Miroslava Duma, the style stars were all in attendance. There were so many great looks (don't get me started on those eye-balls) that it was hard to choose from.

Fashion Week's are going to continue popping off all around the world, so there will be plenty more to see. Here's a mash-up of the best looks I've seen so far.

ASAP Rocky for GQ Mag.

ASAP Rocky in the latest GQ looking like a straight up kid in a candy store. For this nautical shoot, Rocky wears brands like Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Gap. He's one example of how a hood negro will get some money, and show off because he actually has an understanding of high fashion. Quite tired of rich folks looking extra typical and flashy for no reason. But I digress.

More pics and a behind the scenes video of the shoot below...

Rising Trend: Bucket Hats.

Schoolboy Q may have single handedly brought bucket hats back to life, because he is straight up committed. Ever since his musical inception, or at least Habits and Contradictions, I have known him as a bucket hat wearing visionary. He owned that shit, and was really the only person I saw wearing them. But I noticed at SXSW, bucket hats were sprinkled around the joint like big booty white girls....bad analogy, but they were around.

I feel like it's a symbol of real hip hop coming back again. The bucket hat was first popularized in the 80s with artists like LL Cool J and Run DMC, and it coming back is really just respect for the art. It's still in it's initial phases, but already artists like Joey Bada$$, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Earl Sweatshirt, Trinidad James, Drake, Mac Miller, and even Usher (oh Lord) have been spotted rocking the new trend. Taking it back to some true hip-hop type shit (minus Trin, lol).

Jeremy Scott: F/W 2013.

"Adults Suck, Then You Are One"

Leopard pants, creepers, monster sweaters, fur, and camo.

Crazy ass Jeremy Scott hit up NYFW to debut his Fall/ Winter 2013 collection. Cara Delevinge opened the show, and from there it was naturally super bright and dramatic with bold prints and graphics. He has this print with tons of monsters, different faces and mouths that was pretty fun, and tall furry thigh-high boots and wild jackets. Barrels of fur...it got a little ridiculous in there if you ask me, but it's Jeremy Scott. I kid you not, there was a yellow Yeti that closed out the show....fucking kid you not.

The show was 90s grungy, a bit skater, and just funky. One of my favorite pieces were the high-waisted plaid pants. They had a really good shape and flow. And I love all the graphics; instant statement pieces and that's never a bad thing. You will automatically know when anyone is wearing Jeremy Scott.

Several hip-hop artists were in the building like A$AP Rocky, Waka Flocka, and Big Sean. Everyone's favorite photog Terry Richardson snapped a few pics of them at the show:

A$AP Rocky, the Fashion Newcomer.

I love this New York negro. First of all, his music is on point like always, and THEN he's a baby fashionista (I don't know if you're supposed to call boys fashionista's, but I just did.) He's a big fan of Givenchy, Balmain, Rick Owens, Jeremy Scott, and singlehandedly resurrected S.S.U.R. There's a really interesting interview with GQ magazine where they showed him runway photos from different designers like Martin Margiela, Givenchy, Raf Simons, and he gave his honest opinions of the designer digs. Cool stuff. Check that out here.

Most Fashionable People of 2012.

A$AP Rocky
I've realized that people try to play A$AP on the fashion tip. Take note
of this young man because he has it. Not only is he talented musically,
but he always looks dope. I feel like he takes major fashion
risks and executes nicely. He also is the only person I allow
to wear his hair like that. :)
Rihanna
'Nuff said
Solange
Hello Solo my doll. I probably featured Solange on
The Pretty Mustache a million times in 2012. Her love of African
inspired prints was fun and fresh. And her natural
hair styles were perfect compliments.
Kanye
I mean really though, nobody else does what Kanye does. As a black
man AND a rapper..shit, as a human, he really stretches the
boundaries of  what's normal...and I love him for it.
Miroslava Duma
This is my girl right here. It never fails, she keep it trill
and always looks like a certified dime fresh off the
runway. I do not want to see her closet. I would
be too upset with my life.

Beyonce
We all know Beyonce is that chick, but I never pegged her as a fashionista
until 2012 where she kinda came out of nowhere killing it. Baddie Bey,
on the Instagram circuit, really showed a new side of herself.
Mama likes.

Get Familiar: Funky Head-Wear.

I feel we're coming into a time where it's going to be all about the head-wear: beanies, baseball caps, furry hats, turbans, leather, etc. I've always been pretty good at spotting trends before they become super trendy. My best bet is, regardless of what your outfit is doing, if you're wearing a dope hat, you may have just saved or enhanced your fashion life.

There's nothing better than a cool, interesting piece of head-wear. Huge hats, tiny hats, embellished hats, embroidered turbans, veils...all them shits. Come hither. You are welcome here.

A$AP Rocky Covers Complex Magazine.

A$AP Rocky snags the December/ January cover of Complex Magazine, set to hit stands December 4th. This is the first solo Complex cover for the hip hop swag master, but I'm sure it won't be the last. As long as the music stays consistent, this guy is here to stay.

A$AP feels so much like the 90s to me, that its refreshing. The style of music, his swag, all this damn gold (that I'm loving), and those braids. I am not mad.

Can't wait for that album in December.
Read the full cover story now over at Complex.

SSUR F/W 2012.

SSUR, a streetwear brand created by artist Ruslan Karablin, recently dropped their F/W 2012 collection.
This time around "Channel Zero", "Redrum", and "Crooklyn" compile the majority of the graphics.SSUR may seem unfamiliar, but if you're a hip hop fan, you've definitely seen it on A$AP Rocky. Nobody rocked "Comme des Fuckdown" harder than him.
