Jeremy Scott: F/W 2013.

"Adults Suck, Then You Are One"

Leopard pants, creepers, monster sweaters, fur, and camo.

Crazy ass Jeremy Scott hit up NYFW to debut his Fall/ Winter 2013 collection. Cara Delevinge opened the show, and from there it was naturally super bright and dramatic with bold prints and graphics. He has this print with tons of monsters, different faces and mouths that was pretty fun, and tall furry thigh-high boots and wild jackets. Barrels of fur...it got a little ridiculous in there if you ask me, but it's Jeremy Scott. I kid you not, there was a yellow Yeti that closed out the show....fucking kid you not.

The show was 90s grungy, a bit skater, and just funky. One of my favorite pieces were the high-waisted plaid pants. They had a really good shape and flow. And I love all the graphics; instant statement pieces and that's never a bad thing. You will automatically know when anyone is wearing Jeremy Scott.

Several hip-hop artists were in the building like A$AP Rocky, Waka Flocka, and Big Sean. Everyone's favorite photog Terry Richardson snapped a few pics of them at the show:

Diane Von Furstenberg: RTW Fall 2013

Diane, my belle. Why must you make me so happy? I love this collection. Love the colors, love the fur, love the motha freaking 70s vibe in the building. The jumpsuits and pantsuits, and all that fuscia and red is too glamorous for me! I love it because it feels fun, free, and empowering.

There is plenty of metallic, which has been a frequent trend, but she's bold in her color choices. Vivid pantsuits, bold patterns, and flowing dresses. I also like the bright lips....nothing better than a good lip.

Alexander Wang: RTW Fall 2013.

The always adorable Alexander Wang showed his Ready-to-Wear Fall 2013 collection last week during NYFW. It was a pretty much colorless collection, with mainly black, white, and grey. I feel like he was really excited about furry, flannely things while creating this collection.

Pretty sure this is his first runway debut as Creative Director for Balenciaga. Not sure how I feel about the line though. Some of the pieces are great, like the metallicy see through top below, and the interesting all grey sweat suit, but the furry arm things? What is that? I liked most of the pieces as separates but I couldn't wear many of the things the way Wang paired them on the runway. The shoes are quite interesting though.

What do you think?

Kenneth Cole: F/W 2013.

"Yield to Social Netwalking"

Kenneth Cole made his 7 year debut back to the runway yesterday at New York Fashion Week for his F/W 2013 collection. The show's theme was based around social media, with Cole donating $1 to amfAR for every tweet and RT using hashtag #KCRunway. The models took their final walk while snapping shots of the photographers and guests with their camera phones. It was mainly a dark collection set on an industrial runway with projected images like birds flowing across the walls. It was all about structure and movement.

There was tons of black initially, but then white, brown, olive, and oxblood; everything with awesome metallic accents. We saw several designers incorporating metallic into their lines this year, like Burberry for their S/S '13 collection. There were great metallic collars, metal necklaces, chokers, and harnesses.

One of my favorite looks was the brown blazer with black front pockets. They paired the jacket with a puffy brown scarf and black leather pants, and it looked really modern and masculine. I like the sheer tops and metallic items in general, though. All gorgeous. And all of the ladies shoes and boots were sleek, but had petite chunky heels.

I also liked how some models wore a small bag hanging around their necks. It was a simple idea, but made a large impact. Kenneth Cole also created several long flowing tunics with side splits. This is something that's been showing up in other collections as well, like BCBC Max Azria F '13.

Honestly, the stuff just looked GOOD. The sheen of the sweaters, the quality of the skirts, the lines...just nice.

Timo Weiland: RTW Fall 2013.

Timo Weiland's runway show for NY Fashion Week was earlier today. I watched it live and it was pretty enjoyable. The main colors of the show were black and white, pops of vibrant red and army green, and oxblood. Yes, oxblood will be back in action in F/W 2013 as well.

I like the oxblood and grey striped crisscross dress. And the army green sweatshirt (which you can see below) with the large cow print is quite adorable. I spot a trend with that cow print...Givenchy also used the cow print in their F/W 2013 collection.

My favorite outfit, by far, is the gorgeous green dress with the thigh high black boots. When she came-a-walking, a young sir like myself was quite happy. It is so my style. Dresses all around were great though.

Oh and sidenote, the DJ/Emcee was getting hella crunk randomly on the sideline. Did anybody else notice her? Anddd why is Timo so adorable with his broken arm and extra curly hair?

Alexander McQueen Mirrored Transparent Visor.

Alexander McQueen Transparent visor

So I figured out that visor I featured in my New York Fashion Week post  is Alexander McQueen.
The mirrored transparent visor. Very futuristic.

I was pretty curious as to how she could see, but I figured it had to be transparent or she'd be bobbling all around the joint.

For the adventurous, and financially stable, you can buy this piece for $465 here.
Happy shopping.
