Style Post: Mesh & Camo.

Top: ASOS/ Pants: F21 Men / Shoes: GoJane
"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage." -Maya Angelou
Hey cool kids! It's been a little bit since my last style post, but I'm back. Hope you guys have been doing wonderful things lately. From Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo to Charlottesvile and Roanoke,Va, I've had a busy couple of weeks. And enjoyed every moment of it.

This style post features the true definition of "boyfriend jeans" because they are literally my fiance's pants #ow. I was able to hold up the slim-fit pants with a belt and tuck the excess length into the strap of my shoes. It's a tomboy look, upgraded by heels, and an example of how you can rock the mesh trend.

Peace.

Zoe Kravitz for ASOS Magazine April 2014.

Zoe Kravitz graces the cover of ASOS' April 2014 issue. In their exclusive interview, she discusses spring fashion, her role in the new movie Divergent, and her nerves while performing. Check out an excerpt from their exclusive interview:
On personal style: "In high school, I was very eccentric…trying things out and wearing a lot of weird shit. Now I'm into t-shirts and jeans, dresses and floral prints. White t-shirts are my thing – vintage or ex boyfriends' – love 'em and take their shirts! And I'm really into the 90s thing. Now I get to dress like all the girls who were cool at the time – I'm living out the fantasy I had when I was 13."
On shopping advice: "Sleep on it. If you can't stop thinking about it, go back and get it. But I'm really bad at that. There are so many things that by the time I'm home, I'm like, I shouldn't have bought that."

Rising Trend: Full Feminine Skirts.

#iadore: Full skirts

Hey readers! Tis Tuesday and I have a new rising trend.

My newest obsession would have to be these full bodied skirts. They are the ultimate in femininity and unlike the usual bodycon skirt, they're flattering for most body types. There are so many ways to wear this type of skirt. And trust, they'll be having you look like a true "it girl" come spring.

Catch the Blues.

The Blues

1. Wild West Top 2. Suede Ankle Boots 3. Dr. Martens Boots 4.Sparkle and Fade Peplum Dress 5. Two-tone Jeans 6. Midnight Metallic Pants 7. Glitter Pants 8. Cambridge Satchel Co. 11" Satchel

This fall/ winter season you should get into the moody color of blue. I like the deeper cobalt blues this time of year. It plays into all the jewel tones like the burgundys and emeralds we've seen become popular this season.

Popular color combinations are blue and black and blue... with more blue. Just pair different shades of blue all in one outfit, head to toe.

I Might Wear Something Like This....

The Casual Rocker.

Mary Katrantzou Printed jersey T-shirt, Yves Saint Laurent Leather biker jacket, Faith Connexion Metallic stretch-denim, Nike Dunk Sky Hi suede wedge sneakers, Etro Crystal-embellished rabbit-felt fedora, Adia Kibus Resin Skull Ring, Bakers Stretch Spikes 2 Bracelet, Marni Shades

This fall, you should really utilize some of the fun trends of the season.
I'm not HUGE on focusing on trends because I wear whatever I want regardless, and so should you, but it is what it is.

With that being said, several of these pieces are trends this year like wedge sneakers, printed tees, leather, and metallic.

Metallic, metallic, metallic.
It's going to be big this season but especially popular in the spring.
If you find any fun metallic pieces at a steal while the seasons are changing, I'd definitely cop.
It will be worth it once spring rolls around.

I like matching things together that typically wouldn't go together.
For instance, the olive green suede wedge sneaks with the flashy metallic denim.
A little contrast goes a long way.

With an outfit like this, I'd probably go on a lunch date in the city or to a chill concert on a cooler night.

Now I realize most of us aren't balling out of control, so I've researched the look for less.
Still gets the point across and saves a ton of dough.

Happy shopping.
