I think it's the artist in me that makes me want to throw all of the conventional style rules out of the window and express myself however I feel. I'm a firm believer in you wearing the clothes, not letting them wear you. And even if your outfit doesn't work for someone else, wear what works for you.

Hey beautiful people. I threw this outfit together last weekend to run some errands, and I was digging the overall look. I'm usually a pants or shorts type of girl, but I've been making a real effort this year to wear more dresses and skirts. I enjoy the femininity of it. Turbans and different head wraps are also a must for me this summer. It's an immediate outfit changer, adding lots of color and interest. Not to mention, it's perfect for those days your hair is wildin' out. And be prepared to see a lot more of these shoes. I think flatforms are plain adorable.

Do you ever find yourself questioning who you are or where you are in life? I know I can get to surfing the net and Googling and...it's just a wrap from there. It's easy to get in a space where you look at other people and think "Why not me?" But you're exactly where you need to be in your personal journey. Whatever your dreams are, don't lose sight of them. Your journey will not be like any others...it's uniquely yours. And once you start to realize that, the better off you'll be.

And it's so cute, because when you get your package in the mail, it has the sweet scent of cupcakes. I kept with a black and white trend and added a pop of red with my sneakers. Hey! Here's my latest style post: Thank God It's Spring! For this outfit, I'm wearing a mixture of thrift store finds and Forever 21. My hat and shirt are vintage, and my peach pants and "What Ever" loafers are from Forever 21. I'm still loving crop-tops and high-waist paints, so they'll definitely be staples in my wardrobe this season. Take a look below and let me know what you think.
