Style Post: T.G.I.Spring.

"It’s a new era in fashion - there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together." - Alexander McQueen

Hey! Here's my latest style post: Thank God It's Spring! For this outfit, I'm wearing a mixture of thrift store finds and Forever 21. My hat and shirt are vintage, and my peach pants and "What Ever" loafers are from Forever 21. I'm still loving crop-tops and high-waist paints, so they'll definitely be staples in my wardrobe this season. Take a look below and let me know what you think.

What are you guys up to this weekend? I'm excited to take it slow and enjoy the lovely weather before we possibly get whacked more snow next week. Have a good one! :)

Daddy Brown for Mark McNairy's S/S 2013 Lookbook.

Rapper Danny Brown brings a little Triple X to the Spring/ Summer Mark McNairy Lookbook. Danny (and that crazy ass head of his) doesn't shy away from the playful collection filled with bold prints like leopard, florals, and polka dots.

I personally love the quilted blue shorts and the look with the polka dot shorts and floral top.

Style Post: Red Beanie, Floral Skirt.

Red chucks for life. I bought my shirt and skirt from the Goodwill like 2 days ago.I was thoroughly pleased by the goodies I found on that trip. You'll see later. Anyway, for some reason I like mixing reds and purples together. I guess they're close on the color wheel, but to me the difference is interesting.

Styling Tips: Fall 2012

Styling Tips: Fall 2012

1. Wearing socks and heels? Add socks.
Not only do socks and heels keep your feet warm, it adds a second dimension. It adds texture, color, and eye-grabbing patterns. It's fun doing the funky sock thing, but the classic white sock (pictured above) is almost always a good look. See my previous "Socks and Sandals" post here.

2. Pair leather....with more leather.
If it's one thing that I really love right now, it's all the leather on leather. It can look so sleek and so badass.
I'm on the lookout for a leather cap now. Hook me up if you know where I can get a dope one.

3. Embrace the dark lip.
When the weather begins to cool off, so should your lip color. A great bright red never goes out of style, but try to find some great plums and deep reds. See my previous "Dark Lips Trend" post here.

4. Try an all over pattern.
You saw it all over the runways like J. Crew, Balmain, Prada, etc. Lots of designers chose to express this with "power pantsuits."If you have similarly patterned tops and bottoms or items within the same color palette, the look would work as well.

5. Fun hats.
Not sure if I'm going through a phase right now, but I LOVE hats. I've bought probably like 10 hats for me and my boyfriend this year and I keep fighting the urge to get more...which of course I'm going to have to give in eventually. But whether the hat is a bit more subdued or loud as fuck, wear it with confidence and go on your merry little way.

6. Fall Florals.
This year, don't pack away your floral gear just because summer has passed. Keep it around through the fall, but pair it with weather appropriate items like jackets, boots, and scarves. And make sure you aren't wearing a thin fabric unless you have many layers. P.S. Yal notice her heels and socks?...Yea she gets it.
