Outfit of the Day: The Stones Tee.

What's up guys?

So first of all, eff Rock the Bells for being such supreme haters and cancelling their festival two, count 'em, two days before the festival was set to begin. Not only did they jipp people out of a great ass time and holographic Eazy-E and ODB, but for whoever flew and rented hotels, that's even more money spent on a regular ass weekend. We'll riot later.

So even with no more Rock the Bells, we still headed to DC to enjoy the nice weather and good vibes. And we had a great time like we usually do in DC. We hit up the District Flea where we had some bomb ass bread pudding from DC Puddin. I highly recommend you try it if you get a chance. Then we headed to Busboys and Poets which is such a cool place with a cool vibe.

Danny Brown for Uniqlo + The UT TruckShop.

The video above is the first in a series of one minute bio's from Uniqlo called "Life in a Minute". Thought it was adorable. Peep.

After doing a lookbook for Mark McNairy earlier this year, Danny Bri-Zown is now collaborating with UNIQLO. He's been getting his fashion grind on, hasn't he?

He'll be popping up at different locals for their new UT TruckShop, which is a traveling UNIQLO pop-up shop. They'll be trucking around New York and will have live performances every Saturday in April at Gansevoort Plaza. Seems like a really cool event, so if you're in NYC, stopping by wouldn't be a bad idea. Cool music, plus cool tees at awesome prices? Sounds like a Saturday to me.

Head to uniqlo.com for more info....or to just shop. :)

A Tribe Called Quest x Applebum.

To celebrate the release of the documentary “Beats, Rhymes & Life – The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest,” The Tribe collaborates with Japanese brand Applebum for a limited edition T-shirt.

Applebum....sounds familiar right? Applebum, who got their name from the group’s first single “Bonita Applebum,” was an smart choice for the collab.

Thought it was a cool tee, but unfortunately it isn't for sale. They're only giving them away to Japan residents on their site and only 20 are available. So if you come across anyone rocking one of these tees, know that they're special.

Basquiat.

Swizz Beatz for Reebok wearing all types of Basquiat.
Swizz is one of the main supporters of art in the hip hop community. Aside from him repping Jean-Michel Basquiat super hard, he is also an artist himself.(His personal paintings are kinda impressive.)

Anyway, Swizz is working not only on more Basquiat pieces, but also Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. I am really excited to see what he produces because I love all of those artists deeply, esp. Haring. The Keith Haring collection has yet to receive a release date.
