Hey guys!
It's been a minute since my last OOTD post, but I'm back at it. This is an older Outfit of the Day I did while playing around with some new hairstyles. I'm still transitioning my hair from relaxer's so I've been trying to find styles that work for me right now. I call this the "mondo poof" .....for obvious reasons.
In this OOTD, I'm really loving the shoes! I got these new cut-out booties from GoJane.com. I can never stay away from that site for too long. The top is Forever21 and skirt is from Marshalls.

Outfit of the Day: Stripes and Khakis.
Hola mi gente! (I speak Spanish way too much to be part Italian.) My style can be kinda crazy at times, so this outfit was intended to be a little more clean and relateable. But still fun.
I'm wearing a random assortment of arm candy in different sizes and colors. My bag is Steve Madden. I wear it all the time because you can just sling it around your shoulder or wear it on your arm with the shorter straps. It's also has tons of gold studs along the front. The top is a thrift store find, and I'm not sure where the khakis are from, but they're mad comfy. Shoes by Michael Kors.

Outfit of the Day: Black, White, and Some Yellow.
Um hey guys. I've been in Roanoke, Va the last two weekends visiting my boyfriend. That doctor life means 4 times during his residency, he'll be away for 2 and a half months. Yikes! Yesterday he was on call, so naturally, I went downtown to the art museum.
Kind've cool weather for a May day, but nice nonetheless. I wore boyfriend jeans with a black and white semi-sheer skull lace top and my black and white creepers that I love. I was going to do a funky little hairdo, but opted for a bold scarf that I found at a vintage shop a while back.

Style Post: Alice and Wonderland Tights.
If you were at SXSW on Thursday, this is what you would have found me in. I got the top and bottom from Marshalls, the loafers from Go Jane, and my jacket from F21.
The Alice and Wonderland tights are from an online boutique I found on Etsy. They were, by far, the most raved about part of my outfit (to the point where I had several pictures taken of them.) I like wearing tights for SXSW because the weather is so perfect and warm during the day, but once it cools off at night, the tights are almost necessary if you plan on wearing the same outfit all day. Plus it makes it look like I have a ridiculous amount of leg tattoos, and I enjoyed that illusion.

SXSW 2013: Part 2.

Friday was such an awesome day. We went to the SPIN showcase, ate at this Irish bar and had THEE WIERDEST fellow randomly pay for our meals and buy us shots (he may have been a serial killer), and then we found this random park with all these colored orbs on the ground. Playtime with the homies indeed.
Oh and I met Danny Brown outside of Fader. It was his birthday and I'm sure he was probably all kinds of high at the moment bc, I mean, why wouldn't he be, lol. He has such a nonchalant coolness about him though.
At SPIN, we saw Chvrches, Solange, Kendrick Lamar, and Trinidad James. They had such an impressive ass lineup that if we were to go home after that, I would have been satisfied. I was really curious to see Solange and Trin live, bc I've already seen Kendrick (amazing, as always.) Everyone's show was dope and the crowd was totally into it. Solange obviously wins best dressed with her little bedazzled short suit. She vibes so well on stage and I really enjoyed her voice. The Knowles sisters are winning right now.
After we left the show and grabbed some food (accompanied by crazy man), we found this park outside the art museum with all these lights set up and interactive orbs on the ground. Good times were had in that park.
PS: I did cut my hair, and will probably cut it again.
Look out for SXSW 2013: Part 3 soon.
