"I Love Ugly" November 2013 Lookbook.
Straight outta New Zealand, menswear brand (and art collective) I Love Ugly is nothing short of adorable. Their latest Lookbook is impeccably shot, with a mixture of summer and fall ready pieces. There is a bit of a nautical theme with the flag series, but with a major streetwear twist. The most eye catching element of this collection is probably the "Fresh Fish" print created by Melbourne based artist Sam Yong. It's dope.
I love what this brand stands for. A creative touch that is anything but standard. There are soo many street wear brands out there that are boring as fuck. Same 'ol printed shirts with words like "Dope" and "Twerk" plastered everywhere, while abusing camouflage and Versace influences. I'm easily bored with the "copy cat designers." This though, is beautiful.

Supreme F/W 2013 Lookbook for the Win.
I love his face. Let's just get that out the way.
Supreme just put out visuals for their Fall/ Winter 2013 collection. It has an apparent retro theme with the bucket hats (told ya they were coming back), corduroy, and shearling. Below are a few of my favorite looks, but there are more pieces in other colors and styles as well. I definitely give the collection a thumbs up.
There are a ton of sportswear inspired pieces like jerseys (baseball, football, and hockey) and racing jackets. They also feature a Basquiat Cassius Clay drawing on the back of one of their jackets. I tell ya, Basquiat has became relevant in his death these past couple years like no other artist. It seems every hip hop artist has been screaming about their Basquiat this and that and every street wear clothing line has been wanting to incorporate his designs on their tees and sneakers. But I am not mad.
