Sneakers on Deck.

tennis shoes

Lord knows we're all entitled to wearing whatever the hell we please, whenever we please, but the fact that sneakers are trending in womenswear is just sugar and spice and everything nice. So I've found 8 cool sneaks that I think you should be aware of. Whether you like sleek, funky, or un poco distracting, you should invest in a nice pair of sneakers to revamp your wardrobe.

Fall Fashion from H&M.

1. Patterned jersey dress  2. Mesh jersey dress 3. Faux fur jacket 4. Platform booties 5. Sweatshirt dress 6. Short star dress 7. Brown leatherette handbag 8. Knit jumper with leather sleeves 9. Velvet headband with skull detail 10. Leather crocodile bag

H&M is being hella adorable right now and frankly, I can't stand it (AKA I'm smitten). I'm still getting used to the fact that we can shop on hm.com instead of just staring at the computer screen and hoping to see what we saw online in stores.

There have a ton of cute things that will get you more than ready for Fall. Try having fun with textures like leather, velvet, fur, and sheer inserts even during the cooler months.

See something you like? Well go for it! Not only does H&M keep it cute, but they keep it affordable.
Let me know if you cop anything :)

Peace.

Bout Damn Time: H&M's New E-Commerce Site.

Remember when you used to go to HM.com and you saw something super cute that you couldn't live without, and then you tried to buy it and....you couldn't? That emotion of rage, disappointment, and utter WTF at the notion that a company as big as H&M didn't offer online shopping? Well set your worries aside, because their new e-commerce site just went live.

H&M has finally, after what seems like 100 years of frustration from online shoppers, opened an e-commerce site. Let the crowd sing.  I peeped the site, and it seems like there are mainly basic pieces, not as much of the funky items we're used to seeing in stores. It's just a narrower selection, but hopefully they'll expand after some time. Baby steps.

I'm definitely happy about the new site. Every time I went to HM.com, I felt like I was wasting my time, because regardless of what you see, you couldn't buy it online and each store carries different items. This new site was a loooong time coming.

So go get your shop on fellow fashionistas.
H&M for the win. :)

Dopalicious Ciate Nail Kits.

Ciate, based out of London, is like the mecca of innovative nail kits. From their velvet sets, to caviar, ultra neon, and even chalkboard....they've got it all, if you fancy your nails being on the cutting edge of adorable.

Seen on Rihanna, Kate Moss, Rita Ora, Pink, and Adele, Ciate is becoming a familiar face for custom at-home manicures and fun nail polish. I think the chalkboard manicure is a pretty cool idea. You can literally change your nail designs every hour if you wanted. It's set to release in April exclusively at Sephora.com.  I'm also highkey excited about that corrupted neon manicure....looks like a joyride.

Head over to Ciate to check out their kits and polish.  Most kits are under $25.

Peace,
LMo

Cool Sweatshirts via Tribal Paradise.

If you aren't familiar with the online mega-store Etsy, which allows you to host your own shop and sell merch, get familiar. There are a ton of interesting items and cheap buys. Think Ebay, but with a little more structure.

Anywho, while surfing my usual websites this morning, I came across an adorable sweatshirt that I need in my life immediately. A Mary-Kate and Ashley sweatshirt with "Thug Life" printed on it? Come to mama. It's kind've funny bc my sister was obsessed with M-K& A for like a million years, and we pretty much watched/ owned all of their movies and TV shows....and acted scenes out, and generally got weak at the commentary and silly songs. We also admired every little thing they wore, mostly in their teenage years when all their straight to video movies were coming out. Ode to joy.

Tribal Paradise is selling a plethora of printed black sweatshirts, including this Mary-Kate and Ashley one, Rihanna, Lana del Rey, Frank Ocean, Cudi, and more....each at only $20. The price really can't be beat. If you're interested, click here for their shop. They won't be selling sweatshirts past April 1st.

Outfit of the Day: Patterns' R' Us

Amanze and I spent the New Year in ATL with family and friends. We had a shopping day on NYE, which was crazy because it was packed as hell everywhere in Atlantic Station. But I liked styling my boy.  It was good times in a swanky outfit.

I rocked a maroon beanie, a new thrifted button up shirt, Forever 21 leggings (that I adore...they kinda remind me of Keith Haring), and Timbs with my Louis Vuitton bag.

All comfy things. I have to be comfortable when I'm out and about. I rarely sacrifice that for style because I feel like you should be able to do both without issues. I need to be able to break out in dance in a moments notice. :)

Holiday Gifts Ideas: For Him.

1. Profound Aesthetic Portland Hat 2. Flud the Moment Watch 3.Dinosaur Socks 4.Southwest Wallet 5. Spurling Lakes Zip Top Backpack 6. Metal Analog Watch 7. Bottle Opener Ring 8. Deadmau5 MP3 Speaker 9. Toddland Fair Isle Boxer Brief 10. Frayed Chinle Scarf

Just as we have gifts for the ladies, we have them for the fellas. Can't forget about the boys. These are cute, simple gifts that any respectable guy would appreciate. Mainly stocking stuffers, minus the backpack.

You know....beer openers, fancy boxer briefs, socks...the works, lol. I love buying new boxers. Maybe I'm weird like that, but my man never complains.

Out of this list of things, my favorites are the dinosaur socks, both watches, and the boxers.
Can you dig it?

What are yours?

New Digs: Printed Tops, Statement Necklaces, Infinity Scarves and more.

Here are some of the things I've bought in the last couple weeks. I really wanted to refresh my wardrobe a bit and get some essential pieces that would keep me company through the winter.

The top above reminds me of Givenchy "Birds of Paradise" print that we just could not get away from this year. It's just fun, and I like how it's inverted. The long sleeve below also has mirror images but has a bit of the galaxy print mixed in too, which I love.

I bought 3 mini skirts and 3 more necklaces (now I'm really done.) Statement necklaces are so perfect with collar shirts, so now that it's cold outside, there will be plenty of layering.

Check out everything and more below:

New Digs: YSL-esque Rings, Glaze Heel-less Booties, and more.

I adore these rings. I bought a red ring like the ones above and fell in love with it immediately. It's just so bold, so I had to find more colors. When you're wearing them, you don't need any other jewelry on your hand..or you wrist really. It's modeled after the Yves Saint Laurent arty gold-plated glass ring.

The Glaze heel-less booties are one of my favorite purchases. They're hella tall and I can walk in them without looking disabled, which sounds like winning to me. I like winning, it's fun.

The Hello Geeks iPhone case is just for fun. I like the slightly annoyed expression he's wearing. Reminds me of myself at times.

And the hospital that I work at has jewelry sales twice a year where a buyer comes out and brings all his stuff. Everything goes for $5. It's where the majority of my statement necklaces come from now because everything is unique and it's a hell of a deal. The two necklaces below are from there.

New Digs: Urban Expressions Envelope Bag, Deux Lux Glitter Wallet, and more.

Urban Expressions
There's nothing like the holidays to get you in a shopping mood. These were some of my Thanksgiving treats, even though none of them were purchased on Black Friday (I wasn't dealing with that foolishness in stores.)

I got an adorable blue and beige purse by Urban Expressions. I love the envelope style and the gold accents like the chain strap. Deux Lux sparkley wallet with gold accents as well. Gold is all types of popular right now if you haven't noticed.

Geometry for That Ass.

Heel-less booties w/ geometric shapes.

These geometric heel-less platforms are the bees knees.
I think that at $99, they're definitely priced in a range that I can not be mad at either.

If you're digging these, you can find them here.

Animal Print High-Top Dunks.

Leppy shoe.

Classic Nike Dunks with a twist. I'm not talking about all that leopard either. Seems Nike finds the high-top Dunk the perfect shoe to add a hidden wedge. It is kind've perfect.

The shoe features leopard print paneling, a leather upper, contrast lining, and a big white swoosh.

Purchase this shoe or the red and white versions here.

He Might Wear Something Like This...

Mens: Styling Oxblood

1.Camo Pocket Pullover  2.Diamond Supply Mint and Black Snapback 3.Quilted Hooded Vest   4.Diemme Ghepardino Pony  5.Oxblood Coated Jeans  6.Faux Leather and Denim Backpack

*Thinks to self*  I've waited far too long to style outfits for men.

Here we have an outfit that's mainly neutral, but the oxblood and pop of mint keeps it spicy.
Yea I really just said spicy (don't judge).

If you haven't realized by now, I like interesting outfits.
I don't want to wear anything or recommend anything that I don't personally think is cool...
And I cosign all of these.

Another thing is the whole outfit, minus the $500 shoes, is affordable.
Would you wear this?

Rising Trend: Oxblood

Oxblood Fall 2012

1. Alexander McQueen Clutch 2. RGB Nail Polish 3. Alexy Chelsea Boots 4. Alexander Wang Lizard Print Tote  5. Alexander McQueen Boyfriend Tee-Sold Out 6. F21 Over The Knee Socks 7. Fairisle Band Flippy Dress 8. H&M Leather Skirt

Oxblood you say? Why would I want to wear something called "oxblood"? Ok, I admit, the color oxblood does not sound flattering at all, but it can be quite elegant. A great color to accent oxblood with is blue, as you can see Miroslava Duma wearing above. It adds a feminine touch to oxblood and a certain richness.

BBC x Fingercroxx 10th Anniversary Lookbook.

Fingercroxx, based out of Hong-Kong, and Billionaire Boys Club team up for a winning look.
Pharrell modeled the look in their Fall/Winter 2012 10th Anniversary Lookbook.

The collection is very colorful, bold, and represents a mixture of both brands by highlighting each logo.
Pharrell's style has always been unique and dope and this represents him well.

Dope Shoe Alert: Color Blocked Blue Brogues.

Dope Shoe Alert

I've been noticing a lot of color blocking with blues lately, and it makes sense, because blue is a really popular color this season. Aside from the blue, the cut out really makes this shoe what it is....the dopeness.
