Outfit Post: Fall Pastels.

Sweatshirt: Thrift,DIY / Skirt:  Mr. P / Sneakers: Walmart
"Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure." -Oprah Winfrey

Fall is in full swing right now, and I love it. With the leaves changing colors and that crisp air, it's perfect sweatshirt weather. If you love sweatshirts like me, why not take your sweatshirt game up a notch and opt for a cropped version? You can find them in some trendier stores now, or you can take an old sweatshirt and cut it yourself. I found this one at a second hand store. They always seem to have some retro/goofy sweatshirts that I find myself attracted to.

Peace,

Styled by LMo: Football Jersey Dress.

Hola ninos!

In the spirit of this here football season, let me show you a little trick I like to call "I go shopping in my boyfriend's fiance's closet sometimes cuz it be like that." :) First things first, I am not a die hard 49ers fan, by any means. I'm from STL, so I rock with all the St. Louis teams, naturally, and anything related to Mizzou as well because we're just the best. I meeaaaan.

Anyway...Aldon Smith is a friend of my boyfriend's fiance's family, so we each got extra official looking jersey's as gifts last year. We wear them from time to time to show support (Lord knows he needs a prayer or two right now.)

With the recent sporty women's trend, I decided to put together a look to show how you can take a men's jersey and rock it somewhat like a dress. Since the weather is cooler now, it would probably work great with some distressed leggings, thigh high socks, or leather pants.

And leave me a comment below if you like the post or think its ridiculous or don't really care and just want to say hi :)

With all that being said.....PEEP!

Style Post: Crop Top Jersey.

Just a bunch of thrift store finds...from the shorts, to the jersey, to the scarf. Regardless of how much money I have in my lifetime, I don't think it could ever keep me out of a thrift store. I love the thrill of the hunt, plus prices are mad cheap and that makes me a happy girl.

I went to the thrift store with a mission. I wanted to find a jersey (preferably a woman or kids jersey) so that I could go home and do some alterations. This is what I found, a blue sleeveless joint with "Village Athletics" across the front. I've been loving crop tops this year, so I pretty much had to cut it. I'm happy with the way it turned out. :)

Peace!

How to Style Strappy Black Heels.

If you saw my post below, you know that there are a ton of a-dorable shoes for ri-diculously good prices. So now you have all these dope shoes, and you ask yourself "What am I gonna wear these with?" Here's where I come in.

I think for the black strappy sandals, it would be really cute if you tried the sporty look. Sweatpants and pajama pants both have made a subtle comeback. And wearing them with a nice pair of simple strappy heels is basically perfection. Like a relaxed grown up look.

I chose soft blue sweatpants with a grey high-low tank. Lots of flow and movement. And the high bun keeps it nice and sleek. I chose black and silver jewelry. The earrings are bolder pieces, while the necklace is understated.

I just love this look.... very simple but definitely interesting. It's something that I can't wait to try myself.

Spring '13: Sporty Spice.

1. Nerd Crop Sweatshirt 2.Grey Letter Tube Skirt 3. Mesh Insert Top 4. Grey Letter Top 5. Zebra Crop Top 6. Love Tube Skirt 7. Giraffe Print Top 8. Number Sleeve Sweatshirt 9. Tall Sweat Dress 10. Burgundy Crop Tee

Let's get nice and sporty for Spring. Top Shop is serving up so many adorable things that it's ridiculous. Here are 10 items, all currently at Topshop.com, for your shopping enjoyment.

I think the sporty look is going to be fabulous for Spring. You can pair these things with sneaker wedges,  pumps with socks, jeweled sandals, and really all types of things. If you don't want to look ultra sporty, nix the sneaker wedges and try strappy sandals or pumps (without socks).
