Style Post: Bantu Knot African Princess.

Please don't ask me why I named this outfit of the day "Bantu Knot African Princess"....but if you must ask, it made me feel pretty tis all. Annnd it probably didn't help that my Nigerian boyfriend told me I looked like his mom when she was back in Africa. Then I just felt authenticated. Anywho.

I have relaxed hair, but I still do "natural hairstyles." I braid my hair a lot, wear it in updo's, and it kind've gives me the best of both worlds. I decided to do some bantu knots the other day, which usually takes forever and 200 days for my hair to dry, so I rocked them out the house.

Animal Print High-Top Dunks.

Leppy shoe.

Classic Nike Dunks with a twist. I'm not talking about all that leopard either. Seems Nike finds the high-top Dunk the perfect shoe to add a hidden wedge. It is kind've perfect.

The shoe features leopard print paneling, a leather upper, contrast lining, and a big white swoosh.

Purchase this shoe or the red and white versions here.

He Might Wear Something Like This...

Mens: Styling Oxblood

1.Camo Pocket Pullover  2.Diamond Supply Mint and Black Snapback 3.Quilted Hooded Vest   4.Diemme Ghepardino Pony  5.Oxblood Coated Jeans  6.Faux Leather and Denim Backpack

*Thinks to self*  I've waited far too long to style outfits for men.

Here we have an outfit that's mainly neutral, but the oxblood and pop of mint keeps it spicy.
Yea I really just said spicy (don't judge).

If you haven't realized by now, I like interesting outfits.
I don't want to wear anything or recommend anything that I don't personally think is cool...
And I cosign all of these.

Another thing is the whole outfit, minus the $500 shoes, is affordable.
Would you wear this?

Detachable Collars.

Attachable Collars.

1. Go Jane Spiked Collar
2. Go Jane Spiked Leopard Print Collar
3. ASOS Gold Sequins Collar
4. ASOS Pointed Stud Leather Collar

I love the look of detachable collars. They instantly upgrade an outfit with character, personality, shine.
I'm currently DIYing my own detachable collar using jean material and possibly another one with foam.
