Style Post: Bantu Knot African Princess.

Please don't ask me why I named this outfit of the day "Bantu Knot African Princess"....but if you must ask, it made me feel pretty tis all. Annnd it probably didn't help that my Nigerian boyfriend told me I looked like his mom when she was back in Africa. Then I just felt authenticated. Anywho.

I have relaxed hair, but I still do "natural hairstyles." I braid my hair a lot, wear it in updo's, and it kind've gives me the best of both worlds. I decided to do some bantu knots the other day, which usually takes forever and 200 days for my hair to dry, so I rocked them out the house.

I felt especially black that day. It was kind've liberating...but let me stop. I wore it with a leopard shirt from Forever21, Levi jeans, a studded Steve Madden bag, and F21 sandals. Sidenote: I just got a GANG of sandals...post to come.

Update: Oh and look what I just spotted online: Cara Delevingne rocking her very own Bantu's, son. Isn't the style just instant 90s....I LOVE the 90s.
