Melody Ehsani's First Apparel Capsule Collection.

Untitled #193

With the success of her bold jewelry and shoe designs, it was only a matter of time before Melody Ehsani expanded into the world of apparel. In her first apparel capsule collection, she follows a definite floral trend, with vibrant oranges and polka dots, and adds Egyptian influences, using Cleopatra, hieroglyphics, and what looks like her own take on the Eye of Horus. In general, this is a very trendy, athletic inspired collection that would be perfect for spring and summer months.

To shop this new collection, head over to melodyehsani.com

What's your favorite piece from M.E.'s first apparel collection? I'm definitely checking for the red hockey jersey and the cropped tops. Honestly, I can take 'em all.

#TPMShop: 12 Perfect Spring 2014 Sunnies.

Untitled #190

Happy Spring!

Today marks the official first day of Spring, and I, for one, could not be more excited. If I see another snowflake, I might have to hurt someone. :) So I've scoured the net to find the cutest, funkiest glasses to get you Spring ready. In this day and age, fashion is inspired by the trends of past decades. So in this collection, you'll notice a lot of 60's and 70's inspired frames that I am in love with: cat-eyes, rounded, and decorative 3D elements like pearls or flowers.

See something you like? Shop our Spring Sunnies collection below. Which style of glasses are you excited for this Spring?

Zac Posen x David's Bridal.

I love when designers work with stores to create more affordable lines. The average woman is deserving of some designer love from time to time, and seeing as though I'm getting married this year, it's super enticing looking at some of these dresses.

Truly Zac Posen, the new bridal line by Zac Posen, will be available in stores and online at David's Bridal starting February 6. This will include wedding and bridesmaids dresses. These amazingly glamorous dresses scream old Hollywood. And oh yea, prices range from $850 to $1350. Posen explained:

Kesh x American Apparel.

Kesh x American Apparel.

I am so on time for this collaboration. In a season where black and white is bold and refreshing, enter Kesh, doing the damn thing with an eye catching graphic collection made exclusively for American Apparel

I have been following Kesh from the early Myspace days among thousands of others, and it's safe to say she's not new to the designing business. Not sure if it's her adorable face, ridiculous body, or artistic genius but at any rate, she's winning. If you follow her on Instagram, it's easy to see the vision behind this collection. She uses her signature black and white graphic images to create a line including t-shirts, leggings, tanks, a baseball cap, and a swim suit.

Dope Boy Magic Spr 2013 Lookbook.

"Made in a Chicago Hood"
Chicago based brand Dope Boy Magic shot an impeccably awesome Lookbook for their Spring 2013 collection. I love the pictures. Like really, they're awesome. The clothes are gritty, and pretty ok. Nothing too unexpected, but I'm feeling the camo poncho, the bucket hats, and the camo tie dye tee. Really, I just love the way it's shot.

Lazy Oaf x Nasty Gal.

It's really no secret, but the 90s were like one of my favorite decades ever. One of those nostalgia filled, childhood memory enducing, trips back into time. And just in time for summer, Nasty Gal has teamed up with Lazy Oaf to produce a 90's filled collection of happiness and joy.

What you can expect:
1. Random cats (think Lisa Frank)
2. Lots of food prints
3. Crop Tops
4. Platforms and jellies
5. Ridiculously decorated jean jackets
6. Head to toe prints

Head over to Nasty Gal for your piece of the collection.
Now excuse me while I cruise away in my drop top Caddy, bumping Bone Thugs. Bone Bone.

Peace.

Givenchy Pre-Fall 2013.

Givenchy took to the streets for their latest lookbook. Here's a large preview of the Givenchy Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which has some really good bones. The cow print is a refreshing switch from the leopard and tiger we've been seeing so much of lately.

Givenchy stays true with menswear inspired looks, leather, and the popular American Dream style sweatshirts in several of their pieces. I notice capes, sturdy flats, and ruffles. There are also a few one shoulder looks and sleeves of different lengths. I wonder if that one's going to catch on.

Brands We Like: Rockwell by Parra.

Parra is a well known Dutch artist known for his easily recognizable illustrations and designs. Born in 1976, he uses bold colors and sexual imagery to create wearable art...that is quite swanky. His characters live that crazy life: popping pills, easing up on vaginas, and losing limbs. Highly enjoyable and I can dig that.

I get a good kick out of the "3rd Worst Person Ever" Trophy keychain and tee. Something one of my best friends would probably appreciate, hehe. To check out the collection in better detail and buy any one of these items and more, click here.

But Why Yal Have to Play Me Though?

Can I be extremely aggravated with the ridiculousness that is H&M? Oh I can? Cool.

So as you all know, I've been really excited about the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration with H&M that was just released yesterday. I got myself excited because they wrote the collection would be available both in stores and online.

Now, even though there are many H&M stores throughout the US, there were only so many that got the collection, which I'm sure is probably sold out in stores now. MY store was not one of the lucky ones. But that's cool, I'll just buy it online...

Official MMM for H&M Commercial.

Since November 15th is quickly approaching, Maison Martin Margiela and H&M release an official commercial highlighting both men and womens items from their upcoming collection.

You may notice familiar pieces like the camel colored coat from the launch in New York.

I just like the guy getting his groove on out there in the middle of the street.
I hope my local H&M store has both of the items I want, too. *crosses fingers

Check my previous post here to view more pieces from the collection.

SSUR F/W 2012.

SSUR, a streetwear brand created by artist Ruslan Karablin, recently dropped their F/W 2012 collection.
This time around "Channel Zero", "Redrum", and "Crooklyn" compile the majority of the graphics.SSUR may seem unfamiliar, but if you're a hip hop fan, you've definitely seen it on A$AP Rocky. Nobody rocked "Comme des Fuckdown" harder than him.
