Baby-G in the Place to Be.

Casio Baby-G watches are back on the scene.

Last night as I was reading the November issue of Nylon Magazine, I came across this Baby-G watch spread. 9 styles, all pretty dope. And it got me thinking....these watches are pretty perfect in a time where 90's fashion reigns supreme.

I remember having a a Baby-G back in the day...this light blue and white joint. It's like when you put it around your wrist, you automatically felt cool. I kinda feel like the Baby-G's (and G Shocks frankly) can have a great run based on casual wear-ability and nostalgia.

New Shit: Gold Skagen Watch.

Happy Sunday!

I wanted to show you guys my new watch courtesy of my favorite boy Amanze. This is my second Skagen and most definitely my favorite. It's pleasant, goes with practically everything, and is made with high quality shit. Sleek as hell with the mirror border too.

Most Skagen watches are easy to spot by their metal mesh wrist bands. This particular watch has a stretchy mesh band, so no clasp needed. Easy peazy.

More pics below.
Adios.

Outfit of the Day: Black and White Vintage Top.

Hola. Time to hit you with another "Outfit of the Day." I wore this outfit while home in STL. (Excuse my junky room, I was living out of my suitcase, lol)

This is a vintage top that I got a few years back that is in awesome condition. I'm really digging black and white right now. It looks so put together and bold, and I believe this shirt is all of that. It is detailed front and back and even has printed patterns along the collar.

Let's Break Some Rules and Start Our Own Trends.

Neon in the Fall/Winter. Burr.

First of all, I'm not a big fan of "fashion rules." You know what I mean: no white after Labor Day, don't mix brown and black, and your shoes have to match your bag.

It's pretty evident that when times are changing, fashion is changing. And most of the old fashion rules just don't apply anymore. If you can make it look good, chances are, you should wear it.I have basically never followed rules when it comes to what I liked to wear. Ask my mom, she'll tell you. My mom still pretty much feels like I look like a hobo every time I see her.  But anyway...

I think wearing neon for F/W is pretty dope. I tend to like the neon more as a pop of color paired with darker bases, like black for instance. For some reason, it gives me a city feel.

Here are 10 neon items that I think could easily fit into your fall/ winter wardrobe:
1. Neon tuxedo stripe pants
2. Rhinestone earring
3. Nameless graphic sweater
4. Casio digital watch
5. Neon trim panel skirt
6. Neon touchscreen compatible gloves
7. Shattered heel-less platforms
8. Rhinestone bracelet
9. Georgie neon slingbacks
10. Studded cross blouse

Nooka Hello Kitty Watch.

Nooka Zub Zirc 20 Hello Kitty Watch

Are you a super duper Hello Kitty fan like half of all the grown people in existence? For $130 you can have a sleek, modern take on the Hello Kitty craze with Nooka's Hello Kitty watch.

Nooka is a New York based fashion design company that thrives on the idea of a "universal language which guides the creation of products with enhanced functionality and a technoprogressive philosophy." I would certainly rock this because it is not obnoxiously Hello Kitty; its more subtle, but just as adorable.

Would you wear this? Better question: Would you wear this for $130?

Peace.
