Sibling SS 2014 at London Fashion Week.
Sibling was born in May 29th 2008 from the collaboration of Sid Bryan, Joe Bates and Cozette McCreery. And their SS '14 Collection is all but typical. With wide mesh tops and shorts, full jean outfits, and a certain 50's flair, they give greasers a reason to get excited again.

3.1 Phillip Lim Resort '14 Collection.
With metallic, paint splatters, perforation, and leather of course, Phillip Lim has a nice little collection on his hands for Resort 2014. The metallics are gorgeous and I love the pops of orange, purple, and baby blue.
He opted for a chunkier heel throughout the collection which gives a bit of a masculine take away, and I love it. We see relaxed trousers, moto jackets, boxy tops, and what is that I see...visors? Yes, Lim's hat of choice for Resort 2014 is a big floppy visor. Very adorable.
But don't just take my word for it, check it out below:

Brands We Like: Romance Was Born.
The duo behind Romance Was Born, Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales, have rocked my world. Romance Was Born was launched in 2005, and since then, they have had 7 MBFW runway shows. Their designs are creative, fun, detailed, and very cinematic. I love when a collection tells a great story. Each of their collections are explained so vividly and are so on the money.
It's funny, because before I knew the meaning of their Spring 2012 Collection: Miraculous Mundane, I said to myself "This looks like something from Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory", seeing as though I lowkey love the whimsy of that movie, and low and behind, that was exactly the point. And that's what's fabulous about Romance Was Born. They are able to translate their ideas into clothing...and you can actually get it.
For Summer 2012's Berserkergang collection, I was in love. It's like the coolest collection ever. All the Marvel superheroes...oy vey, it's just dope. And Marvel Comics proudly supported their collection as they opened MBFW Australia last year.
Check out their 2012 Collections below:

Fall/ Winter 2012: HAPPY CAMPERS
"Taking inspiration from scouts and girl guides , vintage tapestry , Moroccan rag rugs and the west German Scheurich vases known for their rustic shapes and their fiery red and orange lava glazes. Romance Was Born delivers a winter collection for 2012 that captures the fun and freedom of the 70’s with some glam metallic lame elements that give the range a disco edge. Don’t forget your mascara and grab your backpack. This is camping Romance Was Born Style."

Maison Martin Margiela x H&M Launch in New York.
Last night H&M launched their Maison Martin Margiela collection in New York.
The event was held across several floors of 5 Beekman Street, a historic building in NY's financial district.
The launch included choreographed dance performances, art portions, and DJ's that kept the party going in to the night.
Not to mention all the lovely clothes of course.
Guests included Kanye West, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mena Suvari, Selma Blair, and many more, with several guests wearing items from the collection.
The national launch will be on November 15th and will be in about 230 H&M stores.
Click here to see more of the collection in my previous post.

What's That Jacket, Margiela?
H&M, master of the collab, teams up with Maison. Martin. Margiela.
My word!
They launch the line in stores on November 15 and I believe deep down in my spirit that shits bouto hit the fan.
I know everybody and their mother will be fighting for a piece of the action.
I've GOT to have something....anything!
No really though, I want that nude bodysuit with the black "bra" on the outside.
I saw someone wearing that during Fashion Week, and I LOVED it, but never knew who made it.
Now that I know, God be with me.
For those of you in New York, the runway show will be on October 23rd.
Here are a few pieces from the 104-piece collection:

Creatures of the Wind.
Creatures of the Wind is a collection filled with textures: lace, patchwork, tweed, mohair, embroidery, pleats, etc, etc. It never ends.
These daring designers, Chris Peters and Shane Gabier, hail from Chicago, Illinois, and have a vision that is unlike the usual.
Take a look at these flat tasselled shoes were created by Tabitha Simmons for Peters and Gabier.
I am in love.
