The Look for Less: Altuzarra Gladiator Sandal Heels.

The gladiator shoe has been a really strong trend this year, with almost everybody sporting a pair. So you may have seen these over-the-knee gladiator heels by now. They first debuted on the Spring '13 line for Altuzarra with a hefty price tag of $2,715. Not exactly practical, right?

Well thanks to sites like GoJane and Zooshoo, you don't have to miss out on the trends because of the price. Zooshoo is selling a similar shoe (pictured above) for a fraction of what the original shoe would cost you. They come in leopard, black, white, and nude, and as much as I tried to ignore this shoe, they're dope and would be a massive statement piece in any wardrobe.

Home Sweet Surprise Party.

Made it home for 4th of July and a sweet wedding. Saw family and friends and even managed a surprise early birthday shindig for Amanze. Jai was in the building. Stan was in the building. Old friends were in the building...no new friends looking ass.

Please peep the banner that I made (thanks Pinterest for the idea) and my mom's homemade red velvet cake. It makes me giggle a bit because I know how much we struggled with merging two cakes into one massive sweets explosion. But it all worked out with a little creative alteration.

Style Post: Gladiator Sandals.

My people! How's it going?

Guess what I got in the mail last week? Those tall gladiator sandals that I posted here from Go Jane. With the gladiator sandal being one of the trendier shoes of the moment, I couldn't resist. Plus I've never had sandals so tall, and it makes me want to go fight lions and be some jungle woman.

Anywho, I think they look great, especially considering the price. Because lets be real, nobody over here at The Pretty Mustache is paying for those Chanel joints. We're paying bills over her, ha. But love the shoes, and this is the look that I styled for them.
