Don't Call it a Comeback: Timberland Boot Heels.

Do you guys remember the Manolo Blahnik Timberland boot heels that became popular like 9 years ago? I think it was around the same time people were wearing jersey dresses, which has also been revived with the jersey trend. Well I've noticed recently that they are making a come back. Whether you like it or not, it seems the Timberland heels are again relevant.



It kind've makes sense, seeing as though the wheat Timberland boot shot up in popularity this past year. Everyone and their second cousin was rocking them and it will continue this F/W as well. Everything rolls around in cycles anyway.

The pic above is the Jeffrey Campbell #HBIC's that are being sold on Karmaloop for $248.  As you can see, the heel is much chunkier that older styles and the sole has what looks like a 2 inch platform. I actually really dig them as long as they're styled the right way. They also come in a dark khaki color that is just as funky.

Look at ya girl Angela Simmons looking extra agreeable in her thigh high Zigi NYC Sense Boots. I am loving the way this looks with the sporty mini dress. And for $400, you can love them too. (Yikes)

The second pic below was posted to Beyonce's Instagram last month. The family's love of Timbs is apparently real life with Beyonce, Jay Z, and little Blue Ivy sporting a pair. This style Beyonce is rocking looks like the Z-Jo boots by Zigi NY which retail for $200. And the last pic is from Rihanna's River Island Fall 2013 collection with both women wearing their version of boot heels with dark soles.

I mean..what do you guys think?
Should we embrace this comeback or leave it in the past?
