Hellllooo friends! I went to the Sweetlife Music and Food Festival this past Saturday in DC with my boyfriend. Wanted to update you guys sooner, but I came down with something. Getting better though...punk ass colds. Oh! Anywho, the festival was awesome. This is my second year going and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the DC area. 20,000 people showed up this year! They featured artists like Kendrick Lamar, Solange, Phoenix, Gary Clark Jr, and Passion Pit. It was an awesome time.
So judging from what I know about festival attire, I wore that little bitty above. I ordered up a bunch of clothes a couple weeks ago. (I kinda only shop at thrift stores or online unless I'm out of town.) And this is some of the stuff I got. These geometric black and white leggings are from Forever 21. First of all, I love them. They're super stretchy and kind've high waisted, which gives you tons of coverage. Nothing falling out of those, I tell ya. Wore those with a high-low top also from Forever 21. The tail is sheer (there's a pic at the bottom.)
The creepers are from GoJane, the bag is by Lionel, and the woven hat is a thrift store find that I adore. I have definite plans for this hat this year. And I'm having fun with black and white. It's just seems bold among all the colors, and a little wrong for Spring. Yet oh so right. And I went with two different earrings this time. I was really feeling the vibe it gave me, so you'll see more of that too.
