M.I.A x Versus Versace Capsule Collection.

Exuberant ass M.I.A. has teamed up with Versace to create a collection inspired by knock-off Versace pieces. Ingenious? Yes. Hoodrat? Probably. Will everyone and their mother (including me) want a piece of this collection? In-deed.

M.I.A. is collaborating with Versace to create a capsule collection for their more affordable line Versus Versace. Sounds interesting right?




Donatella released the statement below saying:

“I adore the energy of the street, so when M.I.A. proposed to expose the issue of counterfeit Versace pieces by creating a collaboration inspired by these items, I thought it was an incredible idea. The collection represents all that I love of the new Versus Versace: it’s fast, it’s noisy, it’s brazen and it blends the world of music with that of fashion. I can’t wait to see it worn.”

I can't wait either. I'm also really curious about the price of this collection since it's knock-off inspired and part of the Versus line. Please be nice to my wallet. The collection will be available online starting October 16, which is right around the corner. There will 19 pieces for men and women including shirts, printed pants, outerwear, and dresses.

I'm loving the matching short sleeve gold and white outfit and whatever MIA's rocking above. This takes funky and matching prints to a while nother level. And naturally, I am not mad.
