Styled by LMo: Senorita Top and Purple Socks.

I just want to be free. Free to express myself knowing that I may be judged.

If you are interested in making pretty outrageous personal style choices, you have to be willing to put yourself out there. Your style is up for constant judgement...but that's the point right? To create an unspoken dialogue between strangers or friends. Forcing people to be conscious about what you're wearing because you don't look so normal. I enjoy playing with clothes because it truly is fun for me and there is an art to doing it right. I'm working on perfecting that part of my craft now.

This outfit is mainly about the socks. I bought a bag of these thin stocking socks in different colors from Ebay for basically like 20 cents (jokes.) They're perfect to slip on with dress shoes but they're also great to wear with sandals. I personally like the look of socks with sandals (I'm quirky like that), and aside from sliding around a bit, they work out well if you want to add a layer or a new color to your outfit. There is a touch of purple in my senorita top, so I thought what the hell...

The top is thrifted, pants and glasses are from Forever 21, heels are from Go Jane.com, and my bag is vintage from Dominica. My boyfriend took these wonderful pictures. He's multi-talented. Hi Amanze.
