I have a lot of fun taking random pieces and making them into an outfit. This is a very specific outfit, meaning not everybody is going to be able to wear this or even want to, but I like it. It feels fun, young, and edgy.
Every component of this outfit was not intended to go together. I recently bought these glasses from Go Jane. Annddd I love them. My top is a scarf I bought in Miami several years ago and I've wore it as a top before, but not quite like this. The pants are from Forever 21, and can be a little frumpy, but with the belt tied up around my neck, it looks really eye catching and edgy. The combat boots were literally sitting in a basket headed to the Goodwill, when I thought they would finish the look off pretty well. I like the bright neon color and the "I don't give a fuck" attitude they give off.
And I just decided I'm going to try transitioning to my natural hair...again. I tried in college once, and it was just too much to handle at the time, but now that I've cut a few inches off, and have a little more time on my hands (yeah right), I'm going to try it again. I already experiment with lots of styles anyway, so why not just let the relaxer go. Pray for me yal. This hairdo is the result of all over "corn-row" braids (I hate that term) and I did bantu knots with the access hair.
That's that. I picked what I thought would look cool, and here it is.
So what do you think?
