MIZ-ZOU!
I've had this shirt since my very first visit to Mizzou during summer orientation....oh the memories. I decided to tie the shirt up in the front to make it a bit shorter and more fitted. I think it goes well with the pleated skirt since it's simple and has similar colors in the lettering. I don't honestly remember where the skirt came from, but I know its vintage.
I love getting skirts like this from thrift shops because they are easy to manipulate. A regular ankle length skirt is now a high waisted calf length, which automatically makes it more modern. And you could easily hem the shirt to make it any length. I paired the look with silver bamboo earrings, metallic sandals (which I awkwardly forgot to show), and cat eye glasses.
