Saturday was basically wild. We spent our day at the Fader Fort, which had free drinks and other adorable things like a cotton candy machine and games. The weather was perfect, birds were chirping, and drinks were flowing. At Fader, we saw Earl Sweatshirt, Delorean, French Montana, who brought out special guests P. Diddy and Mackelmore, and had a surprise set from Bun B, which was EVERYTHING. It was a good ass time. I never imagined I'd be in a crowd watching P. Diddy perform "All About the Benjamins", but I did. And it was epic shit.
Ok, so right after we left Fader we hopped in line for the Ray Ban x Boiler Room event. And when I say "hopped in line", I really mean we cut in front of people that had been waiting for over 4 hours and somehow made it in, even though they were at capacity (luck of the leprechaun ). When I tell you guys it was intense in there, I. mean. intense.
Remember how I said it's not a party unless somebody is jumping on my head, well it was DEFINITELY a party. When we got in there, we found a seat on this platform in the cut and sat and charged our phones. 15 minutes later, it turns into a freaking stage and we are more than front row...we are literally sitting on the stage as Lunice, Mykki Blanco, and Flatbush Zombies perform. When the Zombies got on stage, for some reason they ran right up to share the herb. Why thank you my dudes.
And THEN this little leprechaun of a white man kept stage diving and once, he literally got a running start as he looked me in the eyes and I lifted him into the crowd. At that moment, we were like soul mates. While there, we also saw Baauer (king of the new Harlem Shake craze even though he did NOT even play it), Death Grips, and Mount Kimbe.
