Rick Owens Stomps the Yard at Paris Fashion Week.

Rick Owens is the talk of Paris Fashion Week with his latest fashion show turned step show.  Now usually we would see the typical tiny models on the runway, but as you can see, he went another direction. Using full figured women only, and mainly black women, he showcased his Spring 2014 collection.

It's cool that he tried something new and was creative. Regardless of your opinions of the show, it was at least an attempt at diversity. I think the clothes ended up looking a little "meh" though. Some of the pieces came off a bit frumpy and thrown together....I swear there were a few potato sacks in there. This also did not read Spring to me at all. But again, it was interesting and a change of pace, so I'm not mad at it.
