Model Cara Delevinge Nabs Her First Vogue Cover.
Who else has Cara fever? *points to self* This one does. Cara Delevingne has truly emerged as fashion's favorite new "It Girl". And now she's nabbed her first Vogue cover, which is a huge accomplishment for anyone. But you know, she deserves it. That girl's been working!
2012 was her year, and she totally exploded. Runway shows, high fashion editorials, street style out the wazoo, and personality for days. Her Instagram is pretty much hilarious. And everybody loves her. I think it's because she doesn't take herself too seriously, but is undeniably gorgeous and a little odd. I like it.
The March Vogue cover was shot by Mario Testino. Cara is wearing Giorgio Armani and a PVC cap by SuperDuper. They said it..."Model of the Year." Watch out world.

Modeling Runs in the Family.
While I was home for Thanksgiving, I found some old family photos of my granny, aunt, and mom (at the bottom) doing their fashion thing. My grandma had several of her children doing print modeling back then and I kinda feel like she caught the bug once she saw their success. Hence, her shots above. I mean, she IS a looker. Go granny.
People ask me all the time if I model or would consider it, but looking at some of these old photos kinda makes me wonder. Hmm.
