Isabel Marant x H&M Collection.

Just a small snippet of the full Isbael Marant collection for H&M. The collection has an obvious soft spot for rich fabrics like silk and leather and nice thick knitted sweaters. It is said to be more expensive than other designer collections for H&M, but judging by these pieces, it's due to the high quality of each item. The stuff looks good

Sweaters, jackets, pea coats, boots, sneakers, dresses...etc: It's a full collection for sure. The Isabel Marant collection will be in select stores starting November 14th. :) See the entire collection here.

PS: The last 2 rows feature the menswear. Cool, classic, and comfortable.

Isabel Marant x H&M.

Big news from H&M today!

It was just announced that H&M and Isabel Marant are collaborating on a new line that is set to release November 14 in 250 stores worldwide. (All the fashion blogs were on 10!) Get your pocketbooks ready, because this collection debuts just in time for Christmas shopping. Coincidence? I think not. H&M has made a name for their designer collections like the collabations with Maison Martin Margiela, Versace, Marni, and their celebrity collaborations with Beyonce and David Beckham.

Marant said this morning "I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim to create something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one's own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality."

The collection will feature clothing and accessories for women, teens, and even menswear, which Marant has yet to explore. Should be an exciting venture the designer.
